Journey

Newsletter

It has been such a journey in my personal walk with the Lord for last two and a half years of my life, with many ups and downs in my emotions,  but actually the most undynamic season with Jesus i would say.

So the bottom line, this last two years of time was a season of ‘Pruning’..refining, purifying and shaping my character alongside a lot of pain and humiliation. Thankfully that strong flame consumed some of my impurities to mould me into a better; a little bit more Jesus-alike person, i hope 🙂

He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. (‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭2‬)

During DTS in Sweden, God pour out extravagant grace and love so i can firmly stand on my true identity in Him, totally a season of healing and restoring. Then refinement was next, I was very prideful but didn’t even want to recognise until i get really painful to see how horrible it was. Felt even more difficult because God was so silent in this time, for t-w-o years, He was quiet and i felt like i was lost. I could not hear Him no matter how hard i tried and it was such a new way of experiencing Him and learning Him.

But our God is so good..when i accept myself with honest and desperate heart, a true freedom followed after. He still met me in my shame and weakness but still loves me so much. He showed His love of cross again and again and again. Now i know i cannot be who i am today without going through that season and it really exercised and strengthened my faith. Hope and pray this will encourage you as well if you think you’re in a desert season with the Lord.

Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them. Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise from the end of the earth! (Isaiah 42:9-10a)

There’s always hope and He reveals His promise in His time and when I know that I know it is the time for move  Now, I’m about to embark this new journey of knowing Him through different season.
